southernmost corner of Section No. 42; thence towards
the south-west generally by Sections Nos. 17, 14, and 1,
Block V, Clyde Survey District, and the production of the
north-eastern boundary of the last-mentioned section to
the Wairoa River; thence towards the north-west by the
Wairoa River to the north-eastern corner of Te Koutu
Block; thence towards the west generally by a right line
across the Wairoa River to the eastern boundary of the
Taumataoteo Block; thence by that block to the Rua-
taniwha Road; thence across that road, again by the last-
mentioned block and the Waioma-Raenui Block to the
Waioma-Raenui Stream, the place of commencement.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by
section eleven of “The Land Act, 1908,” I, William
Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby, with the consent of the owner of the
land mentioned in the Schedule hereto, proclaim as a road
the land in Kawhia North Survey District described in the
Schedule hereto.

above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister
of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial
District.

of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under “The Public Works
Act, 1908,” for a certain public work, to wit, for the pur-
poses of a road in Block I, Maramarua Survey District,
Manukau County:

And whereas all conditions precedent required by law to
be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land
for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed
and performed:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and
pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by
“The Public Works Act, 1908,” and of every other power
and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do
hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of
the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the land
mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the
purposes of the said road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this thirteenth
day of September, 1909.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE JAMES CARROLL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority
conferred by “The Public Reserves and Domains Act,
1908” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), His Excellency
the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke a certain Order
in Council, dated the sixth day of April, one thousand nine
hundred and six, appointing a Domain Board to have
control of the Paeroa Domain, and doth hereby appoint

THE THREE MEMBERS OF THE OHINEMURI COUNTY COUNCIL
REPRESENTING PAEROA RIDING, ex officio,
SAMUEL CRAIG,
WILLIAM FORREST,
WILLIAM MCWATTERS, and
EDMUND WILLIAM PORBITT

to be the Paeroa Domain Board, having, subject to the
said Act, control of the lands described in the Schedule
hereto, which lands are a public domain, and shall be called
the Paeroa Domain; and also doth hereby appoint Tues-
day, the fifth day of October, one thousand nine hundred
and nine, at half past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when,
and the Council Chambers, Paeroa, as the place where, the
first meeting of the said Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

PAEROA DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by
admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 15 perches, more or less, being
Sections Nos. 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, and 12, Block IX, Town of
