No. 26213.—9th July, 1909.—ERNST SMITH BALDWIN, of
215 Lambton Quay, Wellington, New Zealand, Patent Agent,
nominee of The Spirella Company, of Meadville, Pennsylvania,
United States of America (assignees of Marcus Meritt Beeman,
of Meadville aforesaid). Machines for making wire garment-
stays.
Claims.—(1.) A method of forming metallic stays for gar-
ments by bending wire into serpentine shape so as to form
a succession of loops arranged side by side and alternately
in opposite directions, said loops slightly overlapping one
another and preferably being concaved transversely, sub-
stantially as described.
[NOTE.—Here follow five other claims.]
