Pastoral Run in Auckland Land District for License by Public Auction.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned pastoral run will be offered for license by public auction, at this office, on Friday, the 17th day of September, 1909, at 10 o’clock a.m.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
PASTORAL RUN No. 82, Ngongotaha Survey District, Rotorua and East Taupo Counties (Class II), comprising 11,136 acres; upset annual rent, £12. Term of license, twenty-one years. Altitude, 900 ft. to 2,000 ft. above sea-level. Undulating to rough country, mostly covered with fern, manuka, and tussock; a small patch of mixed forest, comprising matai, totara, and rimu, with thick undergrowth of scrub; about 200 acres flat on Wirinaki River of good quality. Soil on remainder of run light pumice of inferior quality, on volcanic formation; well watered by several streams. Fronts the old Rotorua–Taupo Road, about twelve miles from Rotorua. All hot springs, fumaroles, ngawas, geysers, mud-volcanoes, and other centres of thermal action, with right of way thereto, are specially excluded from the run.
