Captain FELIX TEMPLEMAN BELLRINGER, Taranaki Rifle Volunteers,
and to approve of his appointment as Adjutant to the 4th Battalion, Wellington (Taranaki) Rifle Volunteers, with rank of Captain, and with effect from 3rd July, 1909.

IT is hereby notified, in accordance with section 107 of “The Counties Act, 1908,” that so much of the By-law No. 1 made by the Whangarei County Council and sealed on the 5th day of May, 1909, as appoints the several sums to be paid to the Whangarei County funds for the licensing of vehicles has this day been approved by His Excellency the Governor.

THAT the interest and sinking fund for the current year on the special loan of £3,000 granted to the Board by the Government, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” for the purpose of constructing certain bridges and culverts be paid out of the general funds of the Board.
I certify that the above special order was duly passed in accordance with “The Road Boards Act, 1908.”

WHANGAREI COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order.
SPECIAL order of the body corporate known as and called “The Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Whangarei,” passed at a special meeting of the Whangarei County Council held on the 18th day of June, 1909, and confirmed on the 23rd day of July, 1909, namely,—
That the prayer of the ratepayers signing the petition this day presented to the Council that the Mangakahia Road Board be dissolved, and that the Mangakahia Road District be merged in the County of Whangarei, and that such dissolution and merger take effect on the 6th day of August, 1909.
The common seal of the said body corporate was hereto affixed and impressed at a meeting of the Council thereof held on the 23rd day of July, 1909, by and in the presence of—
