NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned
on village homestead allotments at will be received at
this office up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Monday, 6th day
of September, 1909, under the provisions of “The Land
Act, 1908.”

Flat land, covered with high manuka and raupo; alluvial
soil of first-class quality; water obtainable by means of
artesian wells. Situated about 1 mile from Naumai Landing
by launch.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF LEASE.

  1. The land described above is first-class land, and in a
    village settlement, and will be offered on a renewable
    lease for periods of sixty-six years under the provisions of
    “The Land Act, 1908,” particularly Sections 116 to 127 of that
    Act.

  2. The rental stated above shall be the price at which the
    land will be offered for selection.

  3. Applications for a lease shall be made in manner as
    prescribed by “The Land Act, 1908,” and the successful applicant
    shall be made to the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Auck
    land. The person will be subject to all conditions of the
    provisions of the aforesaid Act.

  4. Each applicant shall state his or her residence, occu
    pation, and whether he or she is married (and if married how
    single), and will be required to make the prescribed declara
    tion.

  5. The first half-year’s rent, together with the lease pre
    paration fee (£1 1s. 6d.), must be paid immediately the
    application has been confirmed by the Board, and also the
    rent for the period elapsing between the date of the
    commencement of the term of lease and the next 1st January.

  6. All rent must be paid half-yearly, in advance, on the
    1st days of January and July in each year, at the Receiver
    of Land Revenue, Auckland, and the first half-year’s rent is
    payable as before provided.

  7. Residence for three years on the land is comprised in
    the lease shall be as provided in Part III of this Act
    “The Land Act, 1908,” but this may be dispensed with for
    land. The holder must, however, comply with all the
    conditions, and shall apply accordingly to lessees under these regulations. The
    holder shall reside permanently on some portion of the said
    Act in respect of compulsory residence, shall apply accord
    ingly to lessees under these regulations.

  8. No lessee shall divide, sublet, or transfer the land
    held by him otherwise than as provided in “The Land Act, 1908,”
    or any subsequent Act, or to mortgagor.

  9. To lessee shall apply for or hold more than one allot
    ment, either alone or jointly with any other person, or for the
    use and benefit, and not for the use or benefit of any other
    person whatsoever.

  10. All the provisions of the said Act, or its amendments,
    shall extend and apply to the lands hereby by these regula
    tions, and to all the persons and bodies to which they are
    issued thereunder, and generally to the interests created,

and the persons whose rights, liabilities, or interests are
created, in the same way, as if the land was disposed of
under the Land Act, 1908, and the other provisions of
that Act applied to the said Act applicable to the particular
case.
