Notice of Request to amend Specification.

REQUESTS for leave to amend the undermentioned applications and specifications for Letters Patent have been received, and are open to public inspection at this office. Any person may at any time from one month from the date of this Gazette give me notice in writing of opposition to the amendments. Such notice must set forth the particular grounds of objection, and be in duplicate. A fee of 10s. is payable thereon.
No. 24734.—Walter Seifert and William Campbell, both of Takapau, New Zealand. Improved apparatus for the treatment of flax and like fibres (advertised in Supplement to New Zealand Gazette, No. 64, of the 20th August, 1908).
The nature of the proposed amendment is as follows: To strike out the name “William Campbell” wherever it appears in the documents.
The applicants state, “Our reason for making this amendment is that the said William Campbell has ceased to be interested in the invention, and we request that the patent may issue to the said Walter Seifert.”
No. 25393.—29th December, 1908.—William John McDonald, of Kaupokonui, New Zealand, Factory-manager, and Joseph Hopkirk, of Hawera, New Zealand, Engineer. Improvements in apparatus for agitating milk, curd, and the like (advertised in Supplement to New Zealand Gazette, No. 4, of the 14th January, 1909.)
The nature of the proposed amendment is as follows: To omit all reference to the name of William John McDonald wherever it occurs in the documents.
The said W. J. McDonald states, “I hereby withdraw my interest and claim in the agitator provisionally protected by Mr. Hopkirk and myself.”
