NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore existing between us, the undersigned TRUMAN BANKS JONES and THOMAS PATTERSON, at Hororata, in the County of Selwyn, in the trade or business of Threshing-machine Proprietors, Hauling, and Chaff-cutters, has been dissolved from this date. All debts due to and owing by the late firm will be received and paid by the undersigned Truman Banks Jones by whom the business will in future be carried on, at Hororata aforesaid.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the WELLINGTON AND WAIRARAPA MOTOR COMPANY (LIMITED) held on the 9th June, 1909, it was resolved: “That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that Mr. M. NOTICE OF INTENTION TO APPLY FOR AN EXTENSION OF TERM OF PATENT.
TAKE notice that, in pursuance of section 29 of the above Act, we, the undersigned patentees, FRANK WILLIAM PETRE, of Dunedin, Architect, and ALEXANDER ARTHUR SCULLY, of Christchurch, Police Constable, intend to present, and will forthwith so present, a petition to His Excellency the Governor, praying for the extension for a further term of fourteen years of Letters Patent No. 8217, dated 23rd January, 1896, for an invention for an automatic instructor, a machine to be used for the purpose of registering instructions to be given to the driver or any other person on a locomotive, railway-train, or other wheeled vehicle, and automatically deliver same when necessary; also to indicate at any time the exact position of the locomotive, train, or wheeled vehicle.

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 223 of “The Companies Act, 1908,” that at an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company, duly convened, and held at the Chamber of Commerce Buildings, Swanson Street, Auckland, in the Provincial District of Auckland, on the 23rd day of June, 1909, at 4 o’clock in the afternoon, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed:—

That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the company that it cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and that the same be wound up accordingly.

That Mr. STANLEY G. CHAMBERS be appointed Liquidator for the purpose of winding up the affairs of the company, at a remuneration of the remaining assets of the company, less the cost of liquidation.
