writing. Any such notice shall be sufficient if given by the
Minister and delivered at or posted to the last known registered office of the company in New Zealand.
8. The company shall maintain the above-mentioned wharfage accommodation in good order and repair; and shall at all times exhibit therefrom, and maintain at its own cost, suitable and necessary lights for the guidance of vessels: Provided that no light shall be exhibited until after it has been approved of by the Minister.
9. Any person authorised by the Minister may, at all reasonable times, enter upon the said wharfage accommodation and view the state of repair thereof; and upon such Minister leaving at or posting to the last known address of the company a notice in writing of any defect or want of repair in such wharfage accommodation, requiring the company, within a reasonable time, to be therein prescribed, to repair the same, it shall with all convenient speed cause such defect to be removed or such repairs to be made.
10. Nothing herein contained shall authorise the company to do or cause to be done anything repugnant to or inconsistent with any law relating to the Customs, or any regulation of the Commissioner of Trade and Customs, or with any provisions of "The Harbours Act, 1908," or any regulations made thereunder, and that are now or may hereafter be in force.
11. The ballast of all vessels loading at the landing-stage of the said wharfage accommodation shall be taken away by the company and deposited above high-water mark, or at such place as may be approved of by the Minister, or by any person appointed by the Minister for that purpose.
12. The company shall be liable for any injury which the said wharfage accommodation may cause through any default or neglect on its part.
13. In case the company shall—
(1.) Commit or suffer a breach of the conditions hereinbefore set forth, or any of them;
(2.) Cease to use or occupy the said wharfage accommodation for a period of thirty days;
(3.) Be in any manner wound up or dissolved,
then and in any of the said cases this Order in Council, and every license, right, power, or privilege, may be revoked and determined by the Governor in Council without any notice to the company or other proceeding whatsoever; and publication in the New Zealand Gazette of an Order in Council containing such revocation shall be sufficient notice to the company, and to all persons concerned or interested, that this Order in Council, and the license, rights, and privileges thereby granted to the company, have been revoked and determined.
14. The construction of the said wharfage accommodation shall be sufficient evidence of the acceptance by the company of the terms and conditions of this Order in Council.

WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the eleventh day of December, one thousand nine hundred and five, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 112, of the twenty-first day of the same month, His Excellency the Governor in Council did, in pursuance of the provisions of “The Harbours Act Amendment Act, 1883,” license John Watkins and Frederick Watkins, trading as “Watkins Bros.,” to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark of Waitetuna River, Raglan Harbour, as a site for booms, in accordance with plans marked M.D. 2912, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, and upon and subject to the terms and conditions therein set forth:
And whereas the said licensees desire that the said license shall be revoked, and it is advisable that this should be done:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in exercise of all the powers enabling him in that behalf, doth hereby revoke and determine the said recited Order in Council of the eleventh day of December, one thousand nine hundred and five, and the rights and privileges thereby conferred.

Amending Regulations for Trout, Carp, and Perch Fishing in Waimarino Acclimatisation District.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-sixth day of June, 1909.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS it is enacted by sections eighty-three and ninety-four of “The Fisheries Act, 1908” (hereinafter called “the said Act”), that the Governor may from time to time, by Order in Council, make regulations for the purposes set forth therein:
And whereas by Order in Council dated the twenty-eighth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and three, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 77, of the first day of October in the same year, regulations for trout, carp, and perch fishing were made for the Waimarino Acclimatisation District:
And whereas it is desirable to revoke clause six of the said regulations and to make another regulation in lieu thereof:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the power conferred upon him by the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke clause six of the said regulations of the twenty-eighth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and three, and doth hereby make the following regulation in lieu thereof:-
REGULATION.
6. No person shall put, throw, or place, or allow to be put, thrown, or placed, into any river or stream, or on or near the bank or margin of any river or stream, or allow to flow into any river or stream, any dynamite or other explosive substance, or any sawdust or sawmill refuse, lime, sheep-dip, flax-mill refuse, or any other matter or liquid poisonous or harmful to fish.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-eighth day of June, 1909.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS it is enacted by section one hundred and thirty-one of “The Harbours Act, 1908” that a Harbour Board in which foreshore has been legally vested may license and permit any part of such foreshore to be used or occupied for, amongst other things, any local enterprise or object which the Governor in Council may approve:
And whereas the Waitara Harbour Board desires to license John Burgess to use a portion of the foreshore legally vested in it for the purpose of working the ironsand-deposits thereon:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the hereinbefore-recited power and authority, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the said Board granting John Burgess a license to occupy seventy chains of the foreshore described in the First Schedule to “The Waitara Harbour Board Foreshore Endowment Act, 1904,” for the purpose of working the ironsand-deposits thereon.
