and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby
declare that the said land is set apart as a cemetery for the
Maori Land for an estate in fee-simple in possession,
subject to the trust, conditions, and provisions generally
affecting the same, to be held and administered by the said
President for behalf of the Maori Land, and in accord
ance with the provisions of the said section.
SCHEDULE.
All that area situate in the Hohounga Survey District, in
the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasure
ment 3 acres and 1 perch, more or less, being a portion of
Hohounga Block, being the land shown on Native-purpose
is more particularly delineated on the plan numbered 14945
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at
Auckland.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-first
day of June, 1909.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section twenty-four of “The Maori Land
Claims Adjustment and Laws Amendment Act,
1907,” it is enacted that any portion of any block of Maori
Land not exceeding 10 acres in area at present not being
utilized and not likely to be utilized, but which is suitable
a site for a fruit-preserving factory, dairy factory, cheese
factory, or industrial work, for cemetery, church, school,
religious, charitable, educational, or public purpose, may be
vested in fee-simple in possession, subject to a trust.
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto is
land which, in the opinion of the Native Minister, is suitable
for a cemetery:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby
declare that the said land is vested in the President of
the Maori Land Board for an estate in fee-simple in possession,
subject to all valid encumbrances and interests affecting the
same, to be held and administered by the said President for
behalf of the Maori Land Board, in trust, in accordance
with the provisions of the said section.
SCHEDULE.
All that area situate in the Kapiro Survey District, in the
North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurememt
10 acres, more or less, being part of Kapiro Block No.
12A 3A; bounded towards the north-east by a right line 460
links; towards the east by a right line 190 links, 400 links,
400 links, 100 links; towards the south-east by a right line
300 links; towards the south-west by a right line 700 links;
towards the north-west by a right line 400 links, and towards
the north-east by a right line 380 links; all the aforesaid
boundaries being portions of the boundaries of the plan
numbered 14660 deposited at the Office of the Chief Sur
veyor, New Plymouth, and thereto coloured yellow.

Vesting an Additional Area of Reserve in the South
Rakaia Road Board.

day of June, 1909.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
has been duly set apart as an addition to a cemetery
reserve:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient
to so vest the said reserve in the South Rakaia Road
Board.
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves and Domains
Act, 1908,” and the fifteenth section of “The Reserves and
Other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1908,”
hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto shall
become vested in the South Rakaia Road Board, in trust, for
an addition to a cemetery reserve.
SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing
by admeasurement 4 acres 1 rood 28 perches, more or less,
being Reserve No. 3662, situated in Rakaia Village Settle
ment; bounded towards the north-west by Section 20, 100
links; towards the north-east by Reserve No. 3664, 100-2 links
to a point, thence towards the north-east by Reserve No. 3663,
100-2 links; towards the north-east by Reserve No. 3666, 100-2
links; towards the north-east by Rakaia Road, 101-3 links; towards
the south-east by a line 400 links, and by Section 19, 100 links;
towards the north-west by Section No. 20, 100 links; all as
the aforesaid boundaries being portions of the boundaries of the plan
on the plan marked L. 4504/6, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands, at Christchurch, and thereon coloured
green.

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves and Domains
Act, 1908,” doth hereby declare that from and after the date
of the gazetting hereof, the land described in the Schedule
hereto shall become vested in the South Rakaia Road
Board, in trust, for plantation purposes.
SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing
by admeasurement 16 acres 2 roods 34 perches, more or less,
being Reserve Nos. 3665 and 3665A, situated in Rakaia
Village Settlement, on the CHH Survey District, Rakaia;
bounded towards the north-east by Rakaia Road; towards
the south-east by Baker Road; towards the south-west by
Reserve No. 3666, 100 links; towards the north-west
by Section No. 22, Block 1, Rakaia Village Settlement;
all the aforesaid boundaries being portions of the boundaries of the plan
numbered L. 4504/6, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wal
lington, and thereon coloured green.
