Claim.—A reversible-handled brush, characterized by the stock having a longitudinal groove therein, between the projecting edges of which the handle is normally secured by a central screw adapted to be loosened to enable the handle to be reversed.

No. 25975.—1st June, 1908.—ENRIQUE JOHN SOLANO, of 4 Park Lane, London, England, Author. Improvements in and relating to moving targets.

[NOTE.—This is an application under the International and Intercolonial Arrangements, the date given being the official date of the application in Great Britain.]

Claims.—(1.) The improved realistic target comprising the combination of a sloping surface made to represent a landscape by printing, modelling, or otherwise, a number of independent travelling and disappearing target devices mounted on the sloping surface so as to be hidden from view, and means whereby the devices may be separately or collectively operated from the firing-line, substantially as and for the purposes set forth.

Extract from Specification.—These improvements in heels of boots and the like comprise a recess in the underface of the heel having inwardly chamfered or undercut parallel edges, forming a slide, with both ends stopped, and one of these stopped ends adapted to permit easy entry of a filling-piece.
