Regulations for conducting the Survey of Land in New Zealand amended.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by “The Surveyors’ Institute and Board of Examiners Act, 1908,” the Surveyors’ Board doth hereby revoke clause 67 of the Regulations for conducting the Survey of Land in New Zealand, made on the eighth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-ninth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and seven, and doth hereby make the following clause in lieu thereof:—
- Measured lines are to be drawn in red, calculated lines in black, with figures in red and black respectively. Bush-lines cut but not chained are to be drawn in red, the linkages in black. All lineal dimensions are to be in links and decimals. Observed bearings are to be written in blue, and those calculated in black. New pegs must be shown by small red circles; an old peg, when adopted but not found, by a small black circle; an old peg, when found, by a small black circle filled solid; an old peg renewed, by a red circle enclosing a small black circle; a post, by a small solid black square; an iron tube or spike, by a small blue circle. Water to be coloured Prussian blue, roads burnt sienna, bush green. Hills to be shaded in light Indian ink. Adopted prior-survey data must be shown in black, and noted as such with the official number of the original plan. (See Appendices 10 and 11.)

to be Returning Officer for the purpose of conducting the first election of five members of the Board of Trustees of the Woodlands Drainage District, as constituted under “The Land Drainage Act, 1908”; also to appoint Wednesday, the 2nd day of June, 1909, to be the date, and the Waikato County Council Chambers, Grey Street, Hamilton, to be the place, for holding such election; also to appoint Wednesday, the 9th day of June, 1909, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, to be the day and the hour, and the offices of the Waikato County Council, Grey Street, Hamilton, to be the place, at which the first meeting of Trustees shall be held.
