IN THE NATIVE LAND COURT OF NEW ZEALAND, WELLINGTON DISTRICT.

In the matter of an application under section 39 of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894”; and in the matter of an application by Tura Poutama to the Chief Judge of the said Court to amend the order of the Court appointing successors to Miriama Poutama, deceased.

WHEREAS the above application having been referred to the Native Land Court for inquiry and report, and the same having been duly reported upon, the said application is hereby dismissed, and leave is hereby granted to the said applicant to appeal from this decision within fourteen days from the publication of this order in the Gazette and Kahiti.

Order under Section 39 of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894.”

IN THE NATIVE LAND COURT OF NEW ZEALAND, WELLINGTON DISTRICT.

In the matter of an application under section 39 of “The Native Land Court Act, 1894,” by Pikihuia Toki to amend the order of the Court appointing successors to Haukomanawa, deceased, in Taumatamahoe 2B No. 2 Block.

WHEREAS application has been made under section 39 as aforesaid to amend the order of the Court appointing successors to Haukomanawa, deceased: And whereas it appears that the said order appointing successors to Haukomanawa, deceased, in Taumatamahoe 2B No. 2 Block was made in error:

Now, therefore, for the purpose of rectifying the said error, and in exercise of the power in that behalf vested in me as Chief Judge of the said Court by section 39 aforesaid, I hereby order that the said order of the 21st day of September, 1901, appointing successors to the interest of Haukomanawa, deceased, be amended in such manner as will hereby determine Mereana Takerei, f., ¼th; Taurerewa Tuwharetoa, m., 1/8th; Kawana Tuwharetoa, m., 1/8th; Whakarato Tuwharetoa, m., 1/8th; Rangiamohia Harepata, f., 1/8th; Hinewai Taare, f., 1/16th; Kupe Taare, m., 1/16th; Pikihuia Hokotoki (alias Hitaua), f., 1/64th; Rangiahuta Kereama, 1/64th; Kingi Tamakiterangi, 1/64th; Tame Tamakiterangi, m., 1/64th; Hare Tamakiterangi, m., 1/64th; Heta Tamakiterangi, m., 1/64th; Te Rawhiti Tamakiterangi, m., 1/64th; Waina Wi Pakata, f., 1/64th, to be the successors.

WHEREAS the above application has been referred to the Native Land Court for inquiry and report, and the same has been duly reported on: And whereas it appears that the order made appointing successors to Haukomanawa, deceased, in Waimarino No. 5 Block was made in error:
