the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Thursday, the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and nine, as the time at which the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

Locality and Description.

Pohonui is situated on the Mangamahoe Road, about twenty-seven miles from Hunter ville. Generally speaking, the land is hilly, with a few flats, covered with light bush. The soil is a dark loam of good quality. The Pohonui School is about a mile distant.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this tenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and nine.

Opening Village Lands in Wellington Land District for Selection.

PLUNKET, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by “The Land Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the village lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be open for selection on renewable lease on Tuesday, the twenty-ninth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and nine, at the rentals mentioned in the said Schedule; and I do also declare that the said lands shall be leased under and subject to the provisions of the said Act.
