Note.—Average conditions prevailed. Total bright sunshine, 178 hrs. 28 min. One sunless day on 29th, when a southerly storm occurred, and 1·72 in. of rain fell. Mean earth temperatures, 1 ft. 60·8, and 3 ft. 60·0. Means: Dew-point, 53·6°; elastic force of vapour, 0·412"; relative humidity, 76 per cent of saturation.
