An Act to amend the Oamaru Town Hall and Gasworks Sites and Recreation Reserves Act, 1875, and to exempt all Lands vested in the Corporation of the Incorporated Town of Oamaru in Trust for Purposes of Public Utility for the Town of Oamaru and its Inhabitants from certain Provisions of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908.

No. 3 of 1908. An Act to empower the Oamaru Harbour Board to borrow Fifty Thousand Pounds.

No. 4 of 1908. An Act to grant Further Borrowing-powers to the Westport Harbour Board.

No. 5 of 1908. An Act to enable the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Wellington to sell and dispose of certain Lands in the City of Wellington, and to devote the Net Proceeds in or towards the Purchase of certain other Land situate in the said City, and in or towards the Erection of School Buildings thereon, and in or towards the Upkeep of the Roman Catholic Cemetery in the said City.

No. 6 of 1908. An Act to enable the Lincoln Road Board to close a Road and to make and open a New Road.

No. 7 of 1908. An Act to require the Owners of Lands lying adjacent to Public Streets widened by the Christchurch City Council to bear Part of the Cost of the Execution of the Works.

No. 8 of 1908. An Act to amend the Inangahua County Council Empowering Act, 1894.

No. 9 of 1908. An Act to enable the New Plymouth Harbour Board to borrow Three Hundred Thousand Pounds.

No. 10 of 1908. An Act to authorise the Auckland Harbour Board to raise a Loan of One Million Pounds, and to extinguish Riparian Rights in the Harbour of Auckland, and to confer Additional Leasing-powers.

No. 11 of 1908. An Act to amend the Whakatane County Act, 1899.

No. 12 of 1908. An Act to provide for and regulate certain Burials in, and the ultimate Closing of, the Cemeteries at Symonds Street, in the City of Auckland, and thereafter to maintain the same as a Public Reserve.

No. 13 of 1908. An Act to amend the Canterbury College and the Canterbury Agricultural College Act, 1896.

No. 14 of 1908. An Act to constitute a Harbour District and a Harbour Board for the Harbour of Opunake.

No. 15 of 1908. An Act to constitute the Matamata County.

No. 16 of 1908. An Act to confer certain Powers upon the Wellington Harbour Board, and to enable the Wellington Harbour Board to acquire certain Lands and Property.

No. 17 of 1908. An Act to enable the Christchurch City Council to borrow Money and expend the same in connecting, or enabling Owners to connect, Lands, Buildings, and Premises within the said City of Christchurch with some Public Sewer, in providing Sanitary Conveniences for Use in connection with any such Lands, Buildings, and Premises, and to recover Moneys so expended.

No. 18 of 1908. An Act to validate the Sale by the Crown of Section 245A, Block II, Whakatane Survey District.

No. 19 of 1908. An Act to revest certain Portions of Native Land in the Original Owners thereof.

No. 20 of 1908. An Act to vest certain Land in the Corporation of the Borough of Gore as a Site for a Public Library.

No. 21 of 1908. An Act to provide for the Settlement of the Hauraki Plains.

No. 22 of 1908. An Act to further amend the Hokitika Harbour Act, 1905.

No. 23 of 1908. An Act to constitute the Waikohu County.

No. 24 of 1908. An Act to empower the Auckland Harbour Board to acquire Land for the Construction of a Canal connecting the Waitemata with the Manukau Harbour.

No. 25 of 1908. An Act to provide for the Drainage of the City of Auckland and Suburbs thereof.

No. 26 of 1908. An Act to vest a certain Piece of Land in the Carterton Borough Council, with power to sell or otherwise deal with the same.

No. 27 of 1908. An Act to amend the Christchurch District Drainage Act, 1907.

No. 28 of 1908. An Act to constitute a Harbour Board for the Port of Foxton.

No. 29 of 1908. An Act to facilitate the Construction, Administration, and Working of Tramways in and for the District of Gonville and Castlecliff.

No. 30 of 1908. An Act to vest a certain Reserve in the Education Board of the District of Wanganui for the Purposes of a Technical-school Site at Hawera, and in Exchange therefore to vest another Reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Hawera.

No. 31 of 1908. An Act to constitute Hampden Riding of the County of Inangahua a County.

No. 32 of 1908. An Act to enable the Napier Harbour Board to lease to the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Napier, as a Site for Public Baths, a Piece of Land forming Part of the Foreshore at Napier and now vested in the said Board, and to enable the Council of the said Borough to erect upon the said Land and other Part of the said Foreshore Public Baths.

No. 33 of 1908. An Act to constitute the Ohura County.

No. 34 of 1908. An Act to provide for the Merger of the Otago Dock Trust in the Otago Harbour Board.

No. 35 of 1908. An Act to vest certain Land, being Part of the Otago Heads Native Reserve, in His Majesty the King for Road Purposes, and to fix the Survey of the said Reserve, and to validate certain Agreements entered into by Natives, and to provide for Compensation for Lands taken.

No. 36 of 1908. An Act to authorise the Disposal of certain Land at Palmerston North.

No. 37 of 1908. An Act to authorise the Ross Goldfields (Limited) to construct, maintain, and work an Electric Installation within the County of Westland for working and lighting the Company’s Mines at Ross.

No. 38 of 1908. An Act to constitute the Waimate West County.

No. 39 of 1908. An Act to confer Additional Powers on the Corporation of the City of Wellington, and to extend the System of Drainage to be provided in Parts of the late Borough of Melrose to other Districts lately included, or hereafter to be included, in the City of Wellington.

No. 40 of 1908. An Act to confer certain Powers upon the Wellington Harbour Board and the Corporation of the Borough of Miramar, and to enable the Wellington Harbour Board to acquire certain Lands, reclaim Lands from the Sea, execute Works, and borrow Moneys.

No. 41 of 1908. An Act to enable the Body Corporate known as “The Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Whakatane” to reclaim from the Sea a certain Portion of the Whakatane Harbour.
