Additional Lands in the Takapau Survey District taken for
the Purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway.

PLUNKET, Governor.
A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use,
convenience, and enjoyment of the Wellington-
Napier Railway to take further land in the Takapau Survey
District, in addition to land previously acquired for the pur-
poses of the said railway :
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of
the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections
twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of “The
Public Works Act, 1908,” and of every other power and
authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the lands mentioned in the
Schedule hereto are hereby taken for the purposes above
mentioned.

THE parcels of land mentioned hereunder :—

more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 17115,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways, at Wel-
ington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon
coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight
Commander of the Most Distinguished Order
of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight
Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Go-
vernor and Commander-in-Chief in and over
His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its
Dependencies ; and issued under the Seal of the
said Dominion, at the Government House, at
Wellington, this fifteenth day of April, in the
year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and
nine.

the Purposes of a Police-station.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under “The Public Works
Act, 1908,” for the purposes of a police-station :
And whereas all conditions precedent required by law to
be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land
for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed
and performed :
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and
pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by
“The Public Works Act, 1908,” and of every other power
and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a police-
station as aforesaid ; and it is hereby declared that this
Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirtieth
day of April, one thousand nine hundred and nine.
