Notice respecting Proposed Alteration in Boundaries of City of Christchurch.

PURSUANT to section 118 of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908,” His Excellency the Governor directs it to be notified that a petition in accordance with regulations, signed by not less than one-fourth of the electors of the area described in the Schedule hereto, has been presented to him, praying that the said area may be excluded from the Halswell and Heathcote Road Districts, County of Selwyn, and included in the City of Christchurch as a separate ward, to be known as the Cashmere Ward. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to, or petitions against, the proposed alteration within one month from the first publication of this notice. Such objections or petitions are to be addressed and forwarded to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.

SCHEDULE.

AREA PROPOSED TO BE ADDED TO THE CITY OF CHRISTCHURCH.
