Trustees for the Culverden Public Cemetery appointed.
PLUNKET, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the fourth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the several persons whose names are specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to have the control and management of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.

Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 20, Block VI, Culverden Survey District (Culverden Settlement); towards the south-east by the road forming the south-eastern boundary of the last-mentioned section; towards the south-west by Section No. 15 of the said Block VI; and towards the north-west by said Sections Nos. 15 and 20: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1548/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. |

Appointment of Trustees, Winton Rifle Range Reserve.

IN exercise and pursuance of the power and authority conferred by “The Defence Act, 1908” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, doth hereby constitute and appoint
Captain ROBERT MONTGOMERY GILMOUR, Winton Rifle Volunteers;
Lieutenant THOMAS WILLIAM HAMMOND, Winton Rifle Volunteers; and
CHARLES D. MOORE, Esq., Winton,
to be Trustees of all that parcel of land in the Southland Land District, containing 24 acres 1 rood 21 perches, more or less, situated in the Winton Hundred, and being Sections Nos. 75, 76, and 77, Block VIII, on the public map of the said hundred, deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, at Invercargill; together with all buildings erected thereon; to hold the said several premises for the purpose of maintaining a rifle range for Volunteer purposes, and generally for the purposes of and with the powers conferred by the said Act. And it is hereby declared that the said Trustees shall be incorporated under the name of “The Trustees of the Winton Rifle Range Reserve,” and that they shall take office as such Trustees on the thirteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and nine.
