Additional Land in the City of Wellington taken for the Purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Wellington-Napier Railway to take further land in the City of Wellington, in addition to land previously acquired for the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of “The Public Works Act, 1908,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.

The parcel of land mentioned hereunder:—

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 17615, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
