Locality of the race and of its starting and terminal points: Starting at Keogh’s Creek, in the freehold land of Johanna McFelin, wife of Applicant, and terminating at Applicant’s freehold land, Section 36, Block III, District of Cromwell, crossing Fleming and party’s and Rowe and Johnston’s races, over both of which the race applied for will be flumed.

Length and intended course of race: Half-mile; east to west.

Point of intake: In Keogh’s Creek, in Mrs. Johanna McFelin’s freehold.

Estimated time and cost of construction: Two weeks; £5.

Mean depth and breadth: 6 in. deep, 2 ft. wide.

Number of heads to be diverted: One head.

Purposes for which water is to be used: Irrigation and domestic purposes.

Proposed term of license: Forty-two years.

In the matter of the Weldborough Tin-mining Company (Limited).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened, and held at the registered office of the company on Tuesday, the 5th day of October, 1909, the following special resolution was duly passed; and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the members of the said company, also duly convened, and held at the same place on Tuesday, the 2nd day of November, 1909, and adjourned to Friday, the 19th, the following resolution was duly confirmed, that is to say:—

That the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of “The Companies Act, 1908.”

And at such last-mentioned meeting Mr. DAVID CRAWFORD, of Dunedin, Accountant, was appointed Liquidator for the purposes of the winding-up.
