A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under "The Public Works
Act, 1908," for a certain public work, to wit, for the purpose
of a road in Block V, Glenkenich Survey District:
And whereas the Clutha County Council has laid before
the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map, and also
the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance
and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in
me by “The Public Works Act, 1908,” and of every other
power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf,
do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the
first day of January, one thousand nine hundred and ten,
the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for the purpose of the said road.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section eleven of "The Land Act, 1908," I, William
Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby, with the consent of the lessee and
mortgagee of the Crown land mentioned in the Schedule
hereto, and of the Waitomo County Council, being the local
authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim
as a road the land in Ohura Survey District described in the
Schedule hereto.

hereto, and of the Kaikoura County Council, being the
local authority in whose district the said land is situated,
proclaim as a road the land in Greenburn Survey District
described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby,
with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the
road described in the Second Schedule hereto, which is not
required by reason of the road described in the First
Schedule hereto.
