HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint

The Honourable JOHN ANDREW MILLAR
to be Minister of Railways, vice the Hon. W. Hall-Jones, resigned.

The Honourable GEORGE FOW LDS
to be Minister of Immigration, vice the Hon. J. McGowan, resigned.

The Honourable JOHN GEORGE FINDLAY, LL.D., M.L.C.,
to be Minister of Justice, vice the Hon. J. McGowan, resigned.

The Honourable RODERICK MCKENZIE
to be Minister of Public Works, vice the Hon. W. Hall-Jones, resigned; and also to be Minister of Mines, vice the Hon. J. McGowan, resigned.

The Honourable ALEXANDER WILSON HOGG
to be Minister of Customs and Minister of Labour, vice the Hon. J. A. Millar, who has resigned those offices.

The Honourable DAVID BUDDO
to be Minister of Internal Affairs, vice the Hon. Dr. Findlay, who has resigned that office; and also to be Minister of Public Health, vice the Hon. G. Fowlds, who has resigned that office.

The Honourable THOMAS MACKENZIE
to be Minister of Industries and Commerce, vice the Hon. J. McGowan, resigned.

WHEREAS the House of Representatives is not now in session, and there is no Speaker of the said House:
Now, therefore, pursuant to the provisions of β€œThe Legislature Act, 1908,” His Excellency the Governor directs it to be notified that

The Honourable JAMES McGOWAN
has by writing under his hand addressed to the Governor resigned his seat in the House of Representatives for the Electoral District of Thames, that such resignation was received on the 6th day of January, 1909, and that the said seat is vacant by reason thereof.
