At the Government House, at Wellington, this third day of December, 1908.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance of the powers vested in him by section two hundred and seventeen of “The Counties Act, 1908,” His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby extend the time appointed for holding the annual meeting of the Council of the County of Waimate from Wednesday, the twenty-fifth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eight, to Monday, the thirtieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

Constituting Court for hearing Petition re Licensing Poll, Masterton.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority in that behalf conferred upon me by “The Licensing Act, 1908,” I, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby decide that the Stipendiary Magistrates hereinafter named shall constitute the Court for the hearing of any petition for inquiry into the conduct of the licensing poll taken in the Masterton Licensing District on the seventeenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eight, namely:—
WILLIAM PATTISON JAMES, Esquire, Stipendiary Magistrate, Masterton;
ALEXANDER McARTHUR, Esquire, Stipendiary Magistrate, Wellington; and
ANDREW DUNCAN THOMSON, Esquire, Stipendiary Magistrate, Palmerston North.
As witness my hand, this seventh day of December, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the two-hundred-and-eighty-eighth section of “The Justices of the Peace Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that the persons named in the Schedule hereto, being persons holding the office of Postmaster under “The Post and Telegraph Act, 1908,” at the places set opposite their names respectively in the said Schedule, are authorised to take and receive statutory declarations under the two-hundred-and-eighty-eighth section of “The Justices of the Peace Act, 1908.”
