In the matter of "The Companies Act, 1908"; and in the
matter of the Tongariro Hemp Company (Limited), (in
liquidation).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the TONGARIRO
HEMP COMPANY (LIMITED), held at the registered
office of the company, Jesmond Buildings, Hamilton, on
28th August, 1908, the following extraordinary resolution
was passed: "That it has been proved to its satisfaction
that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, con-
tinue its business, and that it be wound up voluntarily;
and that RICHARD ENGLISH, Accountant, of Hamilton, be
appointed Liquidator of the company." 1019

In the matter of "The Companies Act, 1908"; and in the
matter of the Tongariro Hemp Company (Limited), (in
liquidation).

ALL claims against the TONGARIRO HEMP COMPANY
(LIMITED) must be in my hands before the 15th
December, 1908, otherwise they will not be recognised.

PYRAMID BLOCK DRAINAGE DISTRICT.

In the matter of "The Land Drainage Act, 1904," and of
"The Local Elections Act, 1904," and of the election of
five trustees in place of five trustees resigned.

THERE being only five candidates nominated for the
above five vacancies, I hereby declare JOSEPH SMAILL,
HENRY SIDNEY JONES, PATRICK MURRAY, ROBERT JOPE, GEORGE
LEWIS HEENAN, duly elected for the office of members of the
Board of Trustees.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hereto-
fore subsisting between RICHARD JOHN PENROSE and
EDWARD JAMES PENROSE, carrying on business as Bootmakers
at Timaru, under the style or firm of "Penrose Bros.," has
been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 20th day of
October, 1908.

All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be
received and paid respectively by the above-named Edward
James Penrose, who will continue to carry on the said busi-
ness under the style or firm of, "Penrose Bros."

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership which
has for some time past been carried on by HARRY
SANDLANT and GILBERT WILLIAM McMILLAN, under the style
of "Sandlant and Co.," Machinery Agents, at Gisborne,
was this day dissolved by mutual consent.

The business will be carried on by the said Gilbert Wil-
liam McMillan, who will receive and discharge all debts
owing to and by the late firm.

To all to whom it may concern.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately
subsisting between the undersigned, JOHN WILLIAM
BELZ and ERNEST JACOBS, carrying on business in co-partner-
ship as Restaurant-keepers and Fishmongers at the Strand
Café, Emerson Street, Napier, under the style or firm-name
of "Belz Bros.," has from the day of the date hereof been
dissolved by mutual consent. And further notice is hereby
given that the said business will in future be conducted on
the said premises and under the same firm-name by the said
John William Belz, who will pay or discharge all debts
owing by and receive all debts owing to the late firm, and
whose receipt for the same shall be a sufficient discharge
therefor.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Registrar of Friendly
Societies has, pursuant to section 18 of "The
Friendly Societies Act, 1908," by writing under his hand
dated this 26th day of November, 1908, cancelled the
registry of the Oroua Tent, at Feilding, registered
number 110 (51), of the New Zealand Central District
Independent Order of Rechabites, on the ground that the
said tent has ceased to exist.

concerning patents and trade-marks required by law to
be gazetted; also, particulars of lapsed applications for
patents, expired letters patent, and other information
useful to inventors, manufacturers, and others. The
Supplement will be issued free to subscribers to the
Gazette, and to others on payment of a subscription of
eleven shillings per annum, including postage, payable in
advance to the Government Printer.
