THE following special order, made by the Cook County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.”

COOK COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order made on the 21st day of August, 1908; confirmed on the 26th day of September, 1908.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Cook County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,000, authorised to be raised by the Cook County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for erecting a bridge across the Mangaheia River, the said Cook County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Mangaheia Bridge Special-rating District, comprising Section 1, Block III, Uawa Survey District; Sections 6, 7, 8, 9, Mangaheia 2D and 2DX; Section B1, Mangaheia 2; Lot 5, Mangaheia 2; Small Grazing-run 46, Kokotieka Block; Sections 10, 11, Mangaheia 2D; Section E, Mangaheia 2; Section 4, Block I, Uawa; Section 2, Block VIII, Tokomaru Survey District; Section F, Mangaheia 2; Mangaheia 2B; Mangaheia 2B2; Mangaheia 2D; Lots 2 and 3, Mangaheia 2, Sections C and G; Paomahake Block, Mangaheia 2, Sections A and O; and Sections K, L, H, and N, Mangaheia No. 2, 554 acres: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during a period equal to the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-two years, or until the loan is fully paid off. The rate of interest to be 4 per cent.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” the Cook County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,000, authorised to be raised by the Cook County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for enlarging Patutahi main drain, and construction of outlets for road drains within the Patutahi Road District, the said Cook County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅓d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Patutahi Special-rating District, comprising the Patutahi Road District, as defined in Gazette 34, 4th April, 1901, page 831; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during a period equal to the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off. The rate of interest to be 3½ per cent.

The rate of interest to be 3½ per cent.
