Lands temporarily reserved for Water-conservation and Climatic Purposes in the Wellington Land District.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of "The Land Act, 1908," it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Wellington Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for water-conservation and climatic purposes.

SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 2 roods 11 perches, more or less, being Section No. 32, Block XII, Waitahuna West Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by Section No. 33, Block XII, Waitahuna West Survey District, 942·8 links; towards the east by a road-line, 1053·7 links; and towards the south-west by a road-line, 150·8 and 891·7 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5218/3, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this seventh day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

Opening Settlement Lands in Wellington Land District for Selection.
PLUNKET, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by "The Land Act, 1908," and "The Land for Settlements Act, 1908," I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the settlement lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for selection on renewable lease on Friday, the eighteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and eight, at the rentals mentioned in the said Schedule; and I do also declare that the said lands shall be leased under and subject to the provisions of the said Acts.
