Additional Land near Waihao Forks taken for the Purposes of the Waimate Railway (Waihao Downs Section).

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Waimate Railway (Waihao Downs Section) to take further land near Waihao Forks, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of “The Public Works Act, 1908,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this seventh day of November, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eight.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1908,” for the purposes of a police-station:
And whereas an agreement for the taking of the estate in fee-simple of the said land has been entered into, and it has been made to appear that such agreement is sufficient for the purposes intended to be effected thereby:
And whereas a plan has been prepared in duplicate showing accurately the position and extent of the said land, and the Minister of Public Works has recommended that this Proclamation should be issued:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by “The Public Works Act, 1908,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a police-station as aforesaid; and it is hereby declared that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1908,” and “The Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1907,” to enable spoil to be taken therefrom in order to carry out reclamation-works:
And whereas the Wellington Harbour Board has laid before the Governor the memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by “The Public Works Act, 1908”:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by “The Public Works Act, 1908,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken to enable spoil to be taken therefrom in order to carry out reclamation-works as aforesaid, and shall, as from the date hereinafter specified, vest in the Wellington Harbour Board; and it is hereby declared that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-seventh day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eight.
