NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore existing between the undersigned in the business of Tailors and Outfitters, carried on at Willis Street, in the City of Wellington, under the name of “Bates and Lees,” has been dissolved by effluxion of time. NOTICE OF CHANGE OF SURNAME.

I, CHARLES WINTER, heretofore called and known by the name of Charles Simich, of Auckland, in the Provincial District of Auckland, in New Zealand, Fishing-boat Proprietor, a naturalised subject of the United Kingdom by virtue of Letters of Naturalisation (94/96), granted to me under my said surname of Simich, bearing date the twenty-ninth day of January, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-four, and enrolled in the office of the Colonial Secretary in Register Number 31, page 130, on the thirty-first day of January, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-four, hereby give public notice that on the twenty-seventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and eight, I formally and absolutely renounced, relinquished, and abandoned the use of my said surname of Simich, and then assumed and adopted and determined thenceforth on all occasions whatsoever to use and subscribe the name of Charles Winter instead of the name of Charles Simich. And I give further notice that by a deed-poll dated the twenty-seventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and eight, duly executed and attested and enrolled in the office of the Supreme Court at Auckland aforesaid on the twenty-seventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and eight, I formally and absolutely renounced and abandoned the said surname of Simich, and declared that I had assumed and adopted and intended thenceforth upon all occasions to use and subscribe the name of Charles Winter instead of Charles Simich, and so as to be at all times thereafter called, known, and described by the name of Charles Winter exclusively. Dated the twenty-seventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 230 of “The Companies Act, 1903,” that a General Meeting of the above-named company will be held at the offices of the Canterbury Frozen Meat Company (Limited), 139 Hereford Street, Christchurch, on Monday, the 24th day of February, 1908, at 4 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before the company showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidators, and for the purpose of passing an extraordinary resolution disposing of the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the Liquidators.
