taining by admeasurement 1 rood 20 perches, more or less,

delineated on the plan marked S.G. 50560, deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and
thereon bordered yellow.

Recreation Reserve in Southland Land District brought
under "The Public Domains Act, 1881."

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings. at Wellington, this twenty-
ninth day of January, 1908.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, K.C.M.G.,
PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by
the twenty-fourth section of “ The Public Reserves
Act, 1881,” 1, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of
the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do
hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in
the Southland Land District described in the Schedule hereto
shall be and the same is hereby brought under the opera-
tion of and declared to be subject to the provisions of "The
Public Domains Act, 1881": and such reserve shall here-
after be known as Brydone Domain, and be managed, ad-
ministered, and dealt with in manner directed by the said
Act.

SCHEDULE.
B R Y D O N E D O M A I N.
ALL that area in the Southland Land District, containing by
admeasurement 4 acres 3 roods, more or less, being Section
No. 152E, Block II, Brydone Village (Edendale Settlement).
Bounded towards the north-east and south-east by Allot-
ment No. 124E, Edendale Settlement, 510·8 and 728·9 links
respectively; towards the south-west by Section No. 151E
in the said village, 100 links; again towards the south-east
by said Section No. 151E, 250 links; again towards the
south-west by the Old Dunedin Road, 410·8 links; and
towards the north-west by Allotment No. 22E in the said
settlement, 978·9 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more
or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G.
57761/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands,
at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Vesting a Reserve in the Ohinemuri Agricultural and
Horticultural Society (Incorporated).

PLUNKET, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-
ninth day of January. 1908.

PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
has been permanently reserved as a site for offices
and buildings for the Ohinemuri Agricultural and Horticul-
tural Society:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is ex-
pedient to vest the said reserve in the Ohinemuri Agricul-
tural and Horticultural Society (Incorporated):
Now. therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him
by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act. 1881,”
doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date
hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall
become vested in the Ohinemuri Agricultural and Horti-
cultural Society (Incorporated), in trust, as a site for
offices and buildings for the Ohinemuri Agricultural and
Horticultural Society.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing
by admeasurement 24 perches. more or less, being Sections
Nos. 25 and 48, Block VI, Town of Paeroa. Bounded
towards the north-east by Section No. 47, Block VI, Town
of Paeroa, 100 links; towards the south-east by Section
No. 26 of the aforesaid block, 150 links; towards the south-
west by Willoaghby Street, 100 links; and towards the
north-west by Arney Street, 150 links: be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan
marked S.G. 57454/11. deposited in the Head Office, Depart-
ment of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Vesting a Reserve in the Waimate County Council.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-

PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
has been permanently reserved for gravel purposes:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expe-
dient to vest the said reserve in the Waimate County
Council:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him
by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,”
doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date
hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall
become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabit-
ants of the Waimate County, in trust, for gravel purposes.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing
by admeasurement 1 acre and 7 perches, more or less, being
Section No. 2736 (in red). situated in the Township of
Glenavy, Waitaki Survey District. Bounded towards the
north by Section No. 62 in said township; towards the
east by Sections Nos. 73, 74, 75, 76, and 77; towards the
west by Harris Street; and towards the south by Redcliffe
Road: as the same is delineated on the plan marked
S.G. 18814/692, deposited in the Head Office. Department
of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

athenæum:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is ex-
pedient to vest the said reserve in the Brydone Athenæum
(Incorporated):
Now. therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in
him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act.
1881.” doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of
the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto
shall become vested in the Brydone Athenæum (Incor-
porated), in trust, for a site for an athenæum.
