Additional Land in the Lower Kaikorai Survey District taken for the Purposes of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway to take further land in the Lower Kaikorai Survey District, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway :

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are taken for the purposes above mentioned.

The parcels of land mentioned hereunder :—

All in the Otago Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked 16128, deposited in the office of the Minister for Railways, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured green, yellow, and blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion at the Government House, at Wellington, this first day of February, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eight.

ERRATUM.—In Schedule to Order in Council dated 30th January, 1908, published in Gazette No. 8, page 359, of 30th January, 1908, declaring Favier Road a county road, for “Wellington Land District” read “Taranaki Land District.”
