Native Land in Kawhia North Survey District taken for Landing Reserves.
PLUNKET, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of October, 1908.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, K.C.M.G., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is Native land and is required to be taken for landing reserves:
And whereas the said land is held or occupied by Native owners under a title which is not derived from the Crown:
And whereas a map of the said land has been prepared in duplicate, as required by the ninetieth section of “The Public Works Act, 1908”:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1908,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby proclaim and declare that the land shown upon such map, and described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby taken for landing reserves as aforesaid; and the said land shall vest in His Majesty the King as from the twenty-third day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

Appointing Commissioners to classify Pastoral Runs in Westland Land District.

IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the two-hundred-and-twenty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
GEORGE JOHN ROBERTS,
JOHN SAMUEL LANG, and
ANDREW CUMMING
Commissioners to classify and report to me upon the rural lands in Westland Land District known as Runs Nos. 9, 13, 15, 17, 34, 61, 65, and 80, as provided by section two hundred and twenty-five of “The Land Act, 1908.”
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-eighth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the fourth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
ALEXANDER HERBERT WILKIE and
HENRY WILLIAM BUCKNALL LITTLEWOOD
to be Trustees, in the place of Frank Ellis and John Ferguson, removed from the district, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Rangataua Public Cemetery, in conjunction with Hector McLean, James Dobbs, Loftus Boyd, Archibald Kerr, and Joseph Alexander Butler, previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-eighth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

MARK SHANDLEY
to be a Trustee, in the place of Richard Joll, deceased, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Waihi Public Cemetery, in conjunction with Robert Trembath, John Harvey, James Dunstan, Thomas Collins, and Daniel George Saunders, previously appointed by His Excellency the Governor.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-eighth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eight.
