Notice of Acceptance of Complete Specifications.

Wellington, 28th October, 1908.

COMPLETE specifications relating to the undermentioned applications for Letters Patent have been accepted, and are open to public inspection at this office. Any person may, at any time within two months from the date of this Gazette, give me notice in writing of opposition to the grant of any such patent. Such notice must set forth the particular grounds of objection, and be in duplicate. A fee of 10s. is payable thereon.

No. 23585.—14th October, 1907.—HENRY AUGUST FREDERIK STEFFENS, of Christchurch, New Zealand, Farmer. Improved construction of seed-sower.*

Claims.—(1.) In seed-sowers, the combination with a rotating disc having notches in its periphery, of a seed-hopper provided with a floor sloping downwards to the rear of the hopper, and with a vertical slot in the floor of the hopper adapted to permit of portion of the disc passing into the hopper, substantially as and for the purposes specified. (2.) The improved construction of seed-sower, substantially as described and explained, and for the several purposes set forth.

Claims.—(1.) A sleeve-drafting chart, characterized by having curves and markings formed and arranged to provide for full sleeves being drafted, substantially as specified, and as illustrated in the drawings. (2.) In a sleeve-drafting chart such as that referred to in claim 1, the provision upon such chart of a cuff-drafting chart, substantially as specified.
