Native Land in Kawhia North Survey District taken for Landing Reserves.
PLUNKET, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of October, 1908.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, K.C.M.G., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is Native land and is required to be taken for landing reserves:
And whereas the said land is held or occupied by Native owners under a title which is not derived from the Crown:
And whereas a map of the said land has been prepared in duplicate, as required by the ninetieth section of “The Public Works Act, 1908”:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1908,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby proclaim and declare that the land shown upon such map, and described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby taken for landing reserves as aforesaid; and the said land shall vest in His Majesty the King as from the twenty-third day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

Revoking Order in Council licensing the Campbelltown Borough Council to use and occupy a Part of Foreshore of Argyle Beach as a Site for Baths.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of October, 1908.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, K.C.M.G., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the thirteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and six, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 87, of the eighteenth day of the same month, His Excellency the Governor in Council did, in pursuance of the provisions of “The Harbours Act Amendment Act, 1883,” license the Campbelltown Borough Council to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark of Argyle Beach, Bluff Harbour, for baths, in accordance with plans marked M.D. 3009, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, and upon and subject to the terms and conditions therein set forth:
And whereas the said Campbelltown Borough Council desires that the said license shall be revoked, and it is advisable that this should be done:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of all the powers enabling him in that behalf, doth hereby revoke and determine the said recited Order in Council of the thirteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and six, and the rights and privileges thereby conferred.

Exempting Regent Street, Wadestown, from the Provisions of Section 117 of “The Public Works Act, 1908.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-second day of October, 1908.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, K.C.M.G., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by subsection one of section one hundred and seventeen of “The Public Works Act, 1908,” it is, inter alia, provided that the said section shall not apply in any case where the local authority having control of a road or street by resolution declares that the provisions thereof shall not apply to any specified road or street, or any specified part thereof, and such resolution is approved by the Governor in Council:
