And whereas it appears expedient to revoke the said Order in Council:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908,” and of every other power and authority enabling him in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the aforesaid Order in Council of the tenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Eastbourne Domain.


PLUNKET, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of October, 1908.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, K.C.M.G.,
PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty-seven of “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, by Order in Council gazetted, appoint any local authority to be the Domain Board having, subject to the said Act, control of any public domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-second day of September, one thousand nine hundred and eight, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-fourth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and eight, the lands described in the Schedule hereto were brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act:

And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

THE EASTBOURNE BOROUGH COUNCIL

to be the Eastbourne Domain Board, having the control of the domain described in the said Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the seventh day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eight, at two o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Eastbourne Borough Council Office, Johnston Street, Wellington, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.


SCHEDULE.

EASTBOURNE DOMAIN, HUTT COUNTY.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 315 acres, more or less, being Sections Nos. 42, 44, and 46, Block I, Pencarrow Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 40, 4800 links; towards the east by Sections Nos. 47 and 49, 6568 links; towards the south by Sections Nos. 50 and 47, Block I aforesaid, 4800 links; and towards the west by Section No. 43, Block IV, Pencarrow Survey District, and Section No. 41, Block I aforesaid, 6568 links. Also

All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 236 acres, more or less, being Sections Nos. 43 and 48, Block IV, Pencarrow Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 41, Block I, 2020 links; towards the east by Sections Nos. 44, 46, and 47, Block I, and Section No. 49, Block IV aforesaid, 8191 links; towards the south by Section No. 50, said Block IV, 4500 links; towards the west by the waters of Port Nicholson; again towards the north by Section No. 45, said Block IV, 3000 links; and again towards the west by the said Section No. 45, 5631 links: subject to a right of road 100 links wide reserved through the sections.

As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. 161, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Recreation Reserve in Hawke's Bay Land District brought under Part II of “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908.”


PLUNKET, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of October, 1908.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, K.C.M.G.,
PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the twenty-sixth section of “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Hawke's Bay Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and such reserve shall hereafter be known as Mangatoitoi Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.


SCHEDULE.

MANGATOITOI DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 46 acres and 3 perches, more or less, being Lot 5 of Section No. 5, Block VIII, Weber Survey District, Weber County. Bounded towards the north generally by a road-line, 1574·1 links; towards the east by rabbit-proof fence reserve, 2958·4 links; towards the south generally by rabbit-proof fence reserve, 2693 links; and towards the west and north generally by Lots 3, 2, and 4, 623, 550, 675, 784·7, and 667·5 links, respectively: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1139, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Bounded towards the north by a road-line 501·7 links; towards the east by Section 5, 502·4 links; towards the south generally by Section 7, 204·7 links; and towards the west and south-west generally by a road-line 680·1 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1143, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
