that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the undermentioned persons, viz. :—
ARTHUR PERRY ALLPORT, of Stoke, orchardist;
ERNEST BATTERSBEE IZARD, of Stoke, orchardist;
THOMAS HEATH, of Stoke, sheep-farmer;
PHILIP CHING, of Stoke, orchardist; and
CHARLES WALTER BROWNE, of Stoke, orchardist,
in trust for a site for a building as and for a library, reading-room, farmers' club-room, gymnasium, and other public purposes.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 8 perches, more or less, being part of Section No. 57 (Suburban South Original District), Block III, Waimea Survey District. Commencing at a point on the western side of the Waimea Road, distant 545·5 links from the southern side of the road forming the north-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 57, Suburban South Original District, and proceeding thence in a south-westerly direction along the said side of the Waimea Road a distance of 90·2 links; thence in a north-westerly direction along a line bearing N. 55° 44′ 47″ W. a distance of 45·51 links; thence in a north-easterly direction along a line forming part of the eastern boundary-line of the said Section No. 57, and bearing N. 23° 19′ E., a distance of 93·96 links; and thence in a south-easterly direction along a line bearing S. 53° 55′ E. a distance of 64·8 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 58694/9, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of October, 1908.

WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto have been duly set apart for plantation purposes:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient that the said lands should be vested in the Ashburton County Council:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908,” doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserves mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the Ashburton County, in trust, as reserves for plantation purposes.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 40 acres 1 rood 20 perches, more or less, being parts of Rural Sections Nos. 35775, 35776, 35777, and 35778, Block IV, Shepherd's Bush Survey District. Commencing at the westernmost corner of Rural Section No. 35778, Block IV, Shepherd's Bush Survey District, and being bounded thence towards the north-west by the road forming the north-west boundary of Rural Sections Nos. 35778, 35777, 35776, and 35775 of the said Block IV, 4462·1 links; thence towards the north-east by Reserve No. 3018, 1168·3 links; thence towards the south-east by lines parallel to the north-west boundary and distant 913·9 links therefrom, 4373·1 links; and thence towards the south-west by the road forming the south-west boundary of the said Rural Section No. 35778, 913·9 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
All that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 17 acres 2 roods 8 perches, more or less, being part of Rural Section No. 36141, Block IV, Shepherd's Bush Survey District. Commencing at the westernmost corner of Rural Section No. 36141, Block IV, Shepherd's Bush Survey District, and being bounded thence towards the north-west by the road forming the north-west boundary of the said Rural Section No. 36141, 1556·5 links; thence towards the north-east by Rural Section No. 31387, 913·9 links; thence towards the south-east by a line parallel to the north-west boundary, 2284·7 links; and thence towards the south-west by Reserve No. 3018, 1168·3 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
As the same are described in Land Transfer certificate of title, Vol. 125, folio 202, Land Registration District of Canterbury.
All that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 21 acres 1 rood, more or less, being parts of Rural Sections Nos. 35788 and 35789, Block VIII, Shepherd's Bush Survey District. Commencing at the westernmost corner of Rural Section No. 35789, Block VIII, Shepherd's Bush Survey District, and being bounded thence towards the north-west by a road-line forming the north-west boundary of the said Rural Sections Nos. 35789 and 35788, 2125 links; thence towards the north-east by Reserve No. 1004, 1000 links; thence towards the south-east by a line parallel to the north-west boundary, 2125 links; and thence towards the south-west by Reserve No. 3019, 1000 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
All that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 10 acres 3 roods, more or less, being part of Rural Section No. 35787, Blocks IV and VIII, Shepherd's Bush Survey District. Commencing at the westernmost corner of Rural Section No. 35787, Blocks IV and VIII, Shepherd's Bush Survey District, and being bounded thence towards the north-west by the road forming the north-west boundary of the said Rural Section No. 35787, 1075 links; thence towards the north-east by a line at right angles to the last-mentioned boundary, 1000 links; thence towards the south-east by a line parallel to the north-west boundary, 1075 links; and thence towards the south-west by Reserve No. 1004, 1000 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
All that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres 3 roods 14 perches, more or less, being part of Rural Section No. 35785, Block IV, Shepherd's Bush Survey District. Commencing at the northernmost corner of Rural Section No. 35785, Block IV, Shepherd's Bush Survey District, and being bounded thence towards the north-east by Reserve No. 3019, 1000 links; thence towards the south-east by a line at right angles to the last-mentioned boundary, 584 links; thence towards the south-west by a line parallel to the north-east boundary, 1000 links; and thence towards the north-west by a public road to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
All that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 29 acres and 6 perches, more or less, being part of Rural Section No. 36143, Block IV, Shepherd's Bush Survey District. Commencing at the westernmost corner of Rural Section No. 36143, Block IV, Shepherd's Bush Survey District, and being bounded thence towards the north-west by the road forming the north-west boundary of the said section, 2906·6 links; thence towards the north-east by Rural Section No. 36166, 1005·7 links; thence towards the south-east by lines parallel to the north-west boundary, 2900·6 links; and thence towards the south-west by Reserve No. 3019, 1000 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
