open for Selection on Renewable Lease.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned village-homestead allotments will be open for selection on renewable lease, at this office, on Wednesday, the 25th day of March, 1908, under the provisions of “The Land Act, 1892,” and its amendments.

Bush land, adjacent to Main North Road, six miles from Invercargill and two miles and a half from Lind’s Bridge Railway-station; land nearly level. Tapped for most part by a formed and partly gravelled road. Limit of holding, 90 acres.

Bush lands, three to four miles from Invercargill and two miles from Tisbury Railway-station; intersected by the Seaward Bush Railway line; land nearly flat, covered with mixed bush, low-lying and swampy in places, capable of yielding good crops when cleared, and good grass when even surface-sown. Sections 43 and 44 front a formed road, and access to the others is by formed and partly formed road. Limit of holding, 20 acres.

Tisbury Village.—Invercargill Hundred.

Waimatua Village.—Invercargill Hundred.

Situated a quarter of a mile from Waimatua Siding, on the Invercargill–Waimahaka Railway line; land level; good soil; covered with light bush, only fit for firewood. Subject to tramway rights. Access by partly formed road. Limit of holding, 50 acres.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF LEASE.

  1. The lands enumerated above are village-homestead allotments, open for selection on renewable lease under the provisions of “The Land Act, 1892” (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), and its amendments.

  2. The rentals stated above shall be the prices at which the lands shall be open for selection.
