THE following special order, made by the Weber County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.”

WEBER COUNTY COUNCIL.

Special Resolution under “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908,” Section 18.

WHEREAS the Weber County Council has from time to time raised special loans, under the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Acts, secured by special rates made over the whole district, as specified hereunder in the Schedule: And whereas it is desired to pay the interest and sinking fund on the above loans out of its general fund, so as to obviate the necessity for levying and collecting the several special rates mentioned in the Schedule: Now, therefore, the Weber County Council hereby, by way of special order, resolves that the interest and sinking fund upon the undermentioned loans respectively be paid out of general fund as from the date hereof.

PAHIATUA BOROUGH COUNCIL.

In the matter of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” and of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” and the Acts amending the same respectively.

I HEREBY give notice that on the 9th day of October, 1908, a proposal was submitted by the Pahiatua Borough Council to the ratepayers of the Borough of Pahiatua for raising a special loan of £1,000 for the extension of drainage and water-supply works in the borough, and that the number of votes recorded respectively for and against the proposal was as follows: For, 44; against, 24.

And I declare the said proposal to be carried.
