Notice of Intention to take Land for a Road through Blocks 2 and 3, Block X, Nuhaka Survey District, Wairoa County.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1908,” to execute a certain public work, to wit, for the construction of a road through Blocks 2 and 3, Block X, Nuhaka Survey District, Wairoa County, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the said road and of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Post-office at Nuhaka, and is there open for inspection. And notice is also hereby given that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land shall, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister in Charge of Roads Department, Wellington.

Authorising the Laying-off of Benjamin Street, in the Township of Makaraka, of a Width of not less than 66 ft.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section 15 of “The Land Act, 1908,” I, Robert McNab, Minister of Lands, do hereby authorise the laying-off of Benjamin Street, in the Township of Makaraka, Hawke’s Bay Land District, of a width of not less than 66 ft., instead of 99 ft.

Revocation of Appointment of Bonding Warehouse.
CUSTOMS.—In exercise of the authority in me for this purpose vested, I, the Minister of Customs, do by this order under my hand revoke and annul, as on and from the first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eight, the appointment of the undermentioned warehouse for the reception and security of goods entered to be warehoused without payment of duty upon the first entry thereof, namely,—
Port of Dunedin.

“The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1908.”—Notice of Proposed Cancellation of Registry.

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to applications in that behalf made to me by the industrial unions mentioned in the Schedule hereto, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon me by section 21 of “The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1908,” it is my intention to cancel the registration of these industrial unions after the expiration of six weeks from the date of publication of this notice in the Gazette unless in the meantime cause is shown to the contrary.
