- All the provisions of the said Act, so far as applicable, shall extend and apply to the lands affected by these regulations, and to the applications and leases to be made and issued thereunder, and generally to the interests created, and the persons whose rights, liabilities, or interests are thereby affected; and the mention of any particular provision of the said Act shall not be deemed to exclude any other provision of the said Act applicable to the particular case.

Recreation Reserve in Wellington Land District brought under Part II of “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908.”
PLUNKET, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-second day of September, 1908.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the twenty-sixth section of “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Wellington Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and such reserve shall hereafter be known as Eastbourne Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.
SCHEDULE.
EASTBOURNE DOMAIN, HUTT COUNTY.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 315 acres, more or less, being Sections Nos. 42, 44, and 46, Block I, Pencarrow Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 40, 4800 links; towards the east by Sections Nos. 47 and 49, 6568 links; towards the south by Sections Nos. 50 and 47, Block I aforesaid, 4800 links; and towards the west by Section No. 43, Block IV, Pencarrow Survey District, and Section No. 41, Block I aforesaid, 6568 links.
Also all that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 236 acres, more or less, being Sections Nos. 43 and 48, Block IV, Pencarrow Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 41, Block I, 2020 links; towards the east by Sections Nos. 44, 46, and 47, Block I, and Section No. 49, Block IV aforesaid, 8191 links; towards the south by Section No. 50, said Block IV, 4500 links; towards the west by the waters of Port Nicholson; again towards the north by Section No. 45, said Block IV, 3000 links; and again towards the west by the said Section No. 45, 5631 links: subject to a right of road 100 links wide reserved through the sections.
As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. 161, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Raupo Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-second day of September, 1908.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty-seven of “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, by Order in Council gazetted, appoint any local authority to be the Domain Board having, subject to the said Act, control of any public domain:
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-eighth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and eight, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the thirtieth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and eight, the land described in the Schedule hereto was brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act:
And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
THE RAUPO DRAINAGE BOARD
to be the Raupo Domain Board, having the control of the domain described in the said Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the tenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eight, at two o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Schoolhouse, Raupo, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
RAUPO DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 33 acres 2 roods 28 perches, more or less, being Section No. 58, Block XVI, Tokatoka Survey District, Otamatea County. Bounded towards the north-east and south-east by Section No. 57, Block XVI, Tokatoka Survey District, 2245·1 and 1500 links respectively; towards the south-west by a public road, 2245·1 links; and towards the north-west by a public road, 1500 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 58469/4, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Licensing Charles Bertram Lester to use and occupy a Part of the Foreshore of Hokianga River as a Site for a Boat-shed and Slip.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-second day of September, 1908.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, there being no Harbour Board empowered to grant the license hereinafter mentioned, Charles Bertram Lester, of Rawene (hereinafter called “the licensee”), has applied to the Governor in Council for a license under “The Harbours Act, 1908” (hereinafter called “the said Act”), to occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark in Hokianga River in order to construct and maintain thereon a boat-shed and slip; and, in accordance with the one-hundred-and-fiftieth section of the said Act, has deposited plans in duplicate (two sheets) in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington (marked M.D. 3244) showing the place where it is intended to construct such boat-shed and slip, the area of foreshore and land below low-water mark intended to be occupied for such purpose, and the manner in which it is proposed to carry out the work: And whereas it has been made to appear to the Governor in Council that the proposed work will not be or tend to the injury of navigation; and the said plans have, prior to the making of this Order in Council, been approved by the Governor in Council: And whereas it is expedient that a license under the said Act, for the purpose aforesaid, should be granted and issued to the licensee on the terms and conditions hereinafter expressed:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the said Act, and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the purpose or object for which the said license is required by the licensee as aforesaid; and, in further pursuance and exercise of the said power and authority, and with the like advice and consent as aforesaid, doth hereby license and permit the licensee to use and occupy that part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark which is particularly shown and delineated on sheet one of the plans so deposited as aforesaid, for the purpose of constructing thereon a boat-shed and slip in accordance with sheet two of the said plans; such license to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the following terms and conditions, that is to say:—
- In these conditions the term “Minister” means the Minister of Marine, as defined by “The Shipping and Seamen Act, 1903,” and includes any officer, person, or authority acting by or under the direction of such Minister.
