Closing a Government Road in Waitomo County.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and thirty-three, (c), of “The Public Works Act, 1908,” it is enacted that the Governor may, by Proclamation publicly notified, stop or alter the course of any Government road or any part thereof:
And whereas the Government road described in the Schedule hereto is no longer required for the purpose of a road in the Waitomo County:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim as stopped the road in Waitomo County hereinafter described.

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District.

Native Land acquired by His Majesty declared to be Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section three hundred and thirty-eight of “The Land Act, 1908” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that whenever the Governor is satisfied that any Native lands acquired by the Crown in any way, or purchased out of any sums authorised or to be authorised to be issued and expended in the purchase of lands in the North Island of New Zealand, are free from Native claims and all difficulties in connection therewith, he shall, by Proclamation, declare such lands to be Crown lands, subject to be sold and dealt with as in the said Act is more particularly mentioned: And whereas the land hereinafter mentioned has been purchased out of sums so authorised to be issued and expended as aforesaid:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, being satisfied that the land described in the Schedule hereto is free from Native claims and all difficulties in connection therewith, do hereby, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the said Act, proclaim and declare the land so described as aforesaid to be Crown land, subject to be sold and dealt with according to the provisions of the laws regulating the sale and disposal of Crown lands in force in the land district in which it is situated.

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 1,071 acres 3 roods 7 perches, more or less, being Sections Nos. 1, Block X, and 4, Block XI, Waimata Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Waimata West No. 1a Block, towards the south-east generally by the Horoeka Stream, towards the south-west and south generally by Kopa-a-tuaki No. 2 Block, and towards the north-west by Ngakoroa E Block; as the same
