Land in Block VI, Kawatiri Survey District, taken for
the Purposes of a Post-office.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under “The Public Works
Act, 1908,” for the purposes of a post-office:
And whereas an agreement for the taking of the estate in
fee-simple of the said land has been entered into, and it has
been made to appear that such agreement is sufficient for
the purposes intended to be effected thereby:
And whereas a plan has been prepared in duplicate showing
accurately the position and extent of the said land, and the
Minister of Public Works has recommended that this Pro-
clamation should be issued:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and
pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by
“The Public Works Act, 1908,” and of every other power
and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a
post-office as aforesaid; and it is hereby declared that this
Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventeenth
day of September, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

SCHEDULE.

THE parcel of land mentioned hereunder:—

Approximate Area of the Parcel of Land taken. Being Situated in Block No. Situated in the Survey District of
A. R. P. 0 0 23·5 Section No. 11 .. VI Kawatiri.

In the Land District of Nelson; as the same is more par-
ticularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 23949,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works,
at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and
thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight
Commander of the Most Distinguished Order
of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight
Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Go-
vernor and Commander-in-Chief in and over
His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and
its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of
the said Dominion, at the Government House, at
Wellington, this seventh day of September, in the
year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and
eight.

Lands proclaimed as a Road in the Parish of Puhoi,
Mahurangi and Waiwera Survey Districts, Puhoi Road
District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by
section eleven of “The Land Act, 1908,” I, William
Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of
New Zealand, do hereby, with the consent of the owners
of the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto, and of the
Puhoi Road Board, being the local authority in whose
district the said lands are situated, proclaim as a road the
lands in Mahurangi and Waiwera Survey Districts de-
scribed in the Schedule hereto.

above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Chief
Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land
District.
