And whereas the Otamatea County Council has laid before
the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map, and also
the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and
pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by
"The Public Works Act, 1908," and of every other power
and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do
hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date
of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the
lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are hereby taken
for the purpose of the said road.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under "The Public Works
Act, 1908," for a certain work, to wit, for the purpose of
a road in Section 8, Block III, Totaranui Survey District:
And whereas an agreement has been entered into with the
owner of the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto to
take such land for the public work hereinafter set forth:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and
pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by
"The Public Works Act, 1908," and of every other power
and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, and
being satisfied of the sufficiency of the agreement herein-
before referred to, do hereby proclaim and declare that,
from and after the date of the publication hereof in the New
Zealand Gazette, the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto
is hereby taken for the purposes of the said road in
Totaranui Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred
by section eleven of "The Land Act, 1908," I,
William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consent
of the owners and mortgagees of the land mentioned in
the First Schedule hereto, and of the Southland County
Council, being the local authority in whose district the
said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in
Forest Hill Hundred described in the First Schedule
hereto; and also do hereby, with the like consents as afore-
said, proclaim as closed the road described in the Second
Schedule hereto, which is not required by reason of the road
first hereinbefore proclaimed.
