- The figures given as the death-rate for Blenheim in the previous returns from 1902 onwards are incorrect, as the mortality for the country around the town was included in error. The town rates have been calculated again and the following are returned as correct. They are furnished by the Registrar after careful examination of the Registers: 1902, 7·71; 1903, 13·25; 1904, 8·23; 1905, 10·92; 1906, 10·72.
