A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1905,” for a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a public school at Upper Hutt:

And whereas the Education Board of Wellington has laid before the Governor the memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by “The Public Works Act, 1905”:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers of “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purpose of the said public school as aforesaid, and shall, as from the date hereinafter specified, vest in the Education Board of Wellington, and it is hereby declared that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-fifth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

In the Land District of Wellington; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 23811, deposited in the office of the Minister for Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1905,” for the purposes of a rifle range:

And whereas all conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a rifle range as aforesaid; and it is hereby declared that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-eighth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eight.
