NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned sections will be offered for lease by public auction, at the Court-house, Westport, on Thursday, the 8th day of October, 1908, at 12 o’clock noon, under “The Westland and Nelson Coalfields Administration Act, 1877,” and its amendments.

Situated on the east bank of the Karetu River, about four miles from Loburn, and twelve miles by good road from the Ashley Railway-station. About 20 acres consists of alluvial river-flats, the balance open undulating land, of which about 80 acres is ploughable. The soil is a sour clay, and carries vegetation of bracken, manuka, tussock, &c.
