Vesting Reserves in the Kiwitea County Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this fourth day of August, 1908.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto have been permanently reserved for the purposes specified in the last column of the said Schedule:

And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient that the said lands should be vested in the Kiwitea County Council:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserves mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the Kiwitea County, in trust, as reserves for the purposes specified in the last column of the said Schedule.

Vesting Control of a Reserve under “The Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act, 1906.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this fourth day of August, 1908.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on him by “The Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act, 1906” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby vest the control of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto in the Minister of the Crown for the time being having the administration of the said Act, and doth hereby declare that the said reserve shall be administered under the said Act.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 30 perches, more or less, being Section No. 7, Block XLIX, Town of Rotorua. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 16, Block LI, Town of Rotorua; towards the east by Tyron Street; towards the south by road reserve along the left bank of the Puarenga Stream to a line in continuation of the eastern boundary-line of Section No. 6, Block XLIX, Town of Rotorua; and towards the west by said line, said Section No. 6, and by abutments of Meade Street, Town of Rotorua: as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 51992, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Land temporarily reserved for a Site for a Drill-shed in the Wellington Land District.

PLUNKET, Governor.

WHEREAS by the two-hundred-and-thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Wellington Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for a site for a drill-shed.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 9 perches, more or less, being Section No. 16, Block I, Hawtrey Settlement, Block XI, Belmont Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Wakefield Road; towards the south by Lots Nos. 106 and 105 of Section No. 11, Block XI, Belmont Survey District; and towards the north-west by Section No. 15, Block I, Hawtrey Settlement: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 19316²/6, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this fifth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eight.

Site for the Deposit of Nightsoil or Refuse, Riverton.

PLUNKET, Governor.

IN pursuance of the provisions of section fifty-nine of “The Public Health Act, 1900,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby consent to the Council of the Borough of Riverton setting apart that area of land, containing one acre, more or less, being part of Section 24, Block XXV, Jacob’s River Hundred—bounded on the north by a private road, 115 links; on the east by another private road, 860 links; on the south by the Jacob’s River Estuary, 120 links; and on the west by the remaining part of the said Section 24—as a site for the deposit and disposal of nightsoil or refuse.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this fifth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eight.
