Notice respecting Proposed Borough of Aramoho, County of Waitotara.

Office of the Minister of Internal Affairs,
Wellington, 28th July, 1908.

PURSUANT to section 175 of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” His Excellency the Governor directs it to be notified that a petition has been presented to him praying for the constitution of the area described in the Schedule hereto as a borough under the said Act, to be named the Borough of Aramoho. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to, or petitions against, the constitution of the said borough which they may desire to lodge within one month from the first publication of this notice; such objections or petitions to be addressed to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.


SCHEDULE.

DESCRIPTION OF BOUNDARIES OF PROPOSED BOROUGH OF ARAMOHO.

All that area in the Wellington Land District bounded towards the north-west generally by Sections Nos. 42, 33, 228, 25A, and 248, Block III, Westmere Survey District; thence towards the north generally by Sections Nos. 54, 53, 52, 51, and 50, Block III aforesaid; and again towards the north-west by the last-mentioned section to the road known as Mission Line; thence again towards the north by Mission Line to the Wanganui River; thence towards the east and south-east by the Wanganui River to the Borough of Wanganui; and thence towards the south-west generally by the Borough of Wanganui to its northernmost corner; thence by a right line to the easternmost corner of Allotment No. 61 of Hair Estate, as shown on Plan No. 258, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar, at Wellington; and thence by the said Hair Estate and Original Section No. 18, Block V, Westmere Survey District, to Section No. 42, Block III, Westmere Survey District, the place of commencement.
