ness in New Zealand of the above-named company,
CONTINENTAL C. AND G. RUBBER COMPANY PROPRIETARY (LI-
MITED), a company incorporated under the laws of the State
of Victoria, in the Commonwealth of Australia, and which
purposes carrying on business in the Dominion of New Zea-
land, is situated in Albert Street, in the City of Auckland, in
the said Dominion, where legal process of any kind may be
addressed or delivered.

CITY OF AUCKLAND. — ABATTOIR LOAN (ADDI-
TIONAL), £9,000.

I, ARTHUR M. MYERS, Mayor of the City of Auckland,
do hereby certify that the Auckland City Council has
by special order made on the 18th day of June, 1908, and
confirmed on the 16th day of July, 1908, duly authorised
the raising of a sum not exceeding nine thousand pounds
sterling (£9,000), by way of special loan, for the purpose of
erecting additional buildings, additions to railway siding,
and other additional works necessary for the completion of
the abattoir now being erected at the corner of Main South
and Portage Roads, near Otahuhu, under the provisions of
section 5 of “The Slaughtering and Inspection Act, 1900.”
Dated at Auckland, this 17th day of July, 1908.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership which has
for some time past been carried on by ALEXANDER
JOHN RAND, of Wellington, Builder, and RICHARD PATCHING,
of Otaki, Brickmaker, under the firm of “Rand and Patch-
ing,” at Otaki and in the surrounding districts in the trade
or business of Brickmakers, was this day dissolved by mutual
consent. All liabilities of the late firm will be discharged
by the said Ritchard Patching, who will receive all accounts
due to the late partnership.

ABATTOIR LOAN OF £15,000.

I, THOMAS WILLIAM HISLOP, Mayor of the City
of Wellington, do hereby certify that the Wellington
City Council, by special order passed on the 27th day of
March, 1907, and confirmed on the 8th day of May, 1907,
has duly authorised the raising of a sum of £15,000, by way
of special loan, for the purpose of establishing an abattoir
for the City of Wellington, under section 5 of “The
Slaughtering and Inspection Act, 1900.”

WIND UP.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1903”; and in the
matter of the Automobile Company of New Zealand
(Limited).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of
the above-named company, duly convened, and held
at Wellington on the 15th day of July, 1908, the following
resolution was duly passed: “That it has been proved to
the satisfaction of the shareholders that the company cannot
continue trading profitably. It is hereby resolved that the
company do go into voluntary liquidation, and that HENRY
ARTHUR GOLD, of Wellington, be appointed Liquidator.
