In the New Zealand Gazette of the 16th April, 1908, there appeared a return showing the estimated yield per acre of
wheat, oats, and barley for the Dominion, viz.: Wheat, 27 bushels; oats, 30 bushels; and barley, 29 bushels.
The actual yields now to hand are as follows:—

WHEAT.
The area for threshing was 193,031 acres, and the total yield is computed at .. 5,567,139 bushels.
