Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Waharoa Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House, at Wellington, this seventh day of July, 1908.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section two of “The Domain Boards Act, 1904” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to “The Public Domains Act, 1881,” control of such domain:
And whereas by an Order in Council made under the provisions of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” on the eighteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and eight, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-eighth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and eight, the lands described in the Schedule hereto were brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of “The Public Domains Act, 1881”:
And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice of the Executive Council of the said Dominion of New Zealand, doth hereby appoint
ALEXANDER KENNEDY WEEKS,
JOHN TYSON,
ROBERT AXEL FORSMAN,
PERCY EDWARD HOLLOWAY, and
ARTHUR JOHN TONG
to be the Waharoa Domain Board, having control of the lands described in the said Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the eighth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eight, at half past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the office of Mr. A. J. Tong, Waharoa, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
WAHAROA DOMAIN, PIAKO COUNTY.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Section No. 26, Waharoa Township. Bounded towards the north-west by Duncan Street; towards the north-east by Section No. 10A, Block XIII, Wairere Survey District; towards the south-east by McGowan Street; and towards the south-west by Mills Street.
Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Section No. 27, Waharoa Township. Bounded towards the north-west by McGowan Street; towards the north-east by Section No. 10A, Block XIII, Wairere Survey District; towards the south-east by Cadman Street; and towards the south-west by Mills Street.
As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 55081/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Authorising the Exchange of a Portion of a Reserve in Canterbury Land District for other Land.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereto forms part of a reserve heretofore duly set apart for plantation purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to exchange the said land for that described in the second column of the Schedule hereto:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the third section of “The Public Reserves Act Amendment Act, 1889,” doth hereby declare that the said land described in the first column of the Schedule hereto may be exchanged for the land described in the second column of the Schedule hereto.

Commencing at a point on the north-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 36294, Block XIV, Shepherd’s Bush Survey District, distant 1998 links in a south-easterly direction from its north-east corner, and proceeding thence in an easterly direction along a line bearing N. 87° 15′ E., a distance of 1030·4 links; thence in a south-easterly direction along a road-line, a distance of 4105 links; thence in a south-westerly direction along a road-line, a distance of 1000 links; and thence in a north-westerly direction along the north-eastern boundary-line of the said Section No. 36294, a distance of 4353·4 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 58515/4, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. | All that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 42 acres 1 rood 6 perches, more or less, being part of Section No. 36294, Block XIV, Shepherd’s Bush Survey District. WHEREAS it has been made to appear that, owing to unavoidable circumstances, the preparation of the rolls for the County of Wanganui, and the taking of certain steps consequent on such preparation, cannot be made and taken within the times limited by “The Counties Act, 1886,” and it is expedient to extend the said times respectively:
